2. Purpose of the website and applications

evfestoje.hu is the official website of the Painter of the Year Competition: it provides information about the competition, the organiser, the sponsors and the contributing organisations, and this is where you can apply for the competition.

The following applies to applications:

• Applications can be submitted during the application period, using the form on the website. The start and end of the period are determined by the organiser and published on the website.
• A competitor may submit one application per competition.
• Applying is free of charge.
• The applicant is responsible for the accuracy of the data provided. If any data is untrue, the organiser may reject the application.
• The organiser decides on the acceptance of applications; we will notify you of the decision and of any request for missing information by e-mail.
• The handling of the data provided in the application is described in the privacy notice.

The uploading of entries, the judging and the audience vote are separate stages following the application; their detailed rules are set out in the call for entries, which the organiser publishes on the website. In the event of any discrepancy between the call for entries and these terms, the call for entries shall prevail in matters relating to the competition.

3. Use of the website

• The content of the website may be viewed freely, without registration.
• It is prohibited to disrupt the operation of the website, to circumvent its security measures, or to place an automated load on the website that exceeds normal use.
• Everyone uses the website at their own risk.

4. Copyright and trademarks

The structure, texts and graphic design of the website are the intellectual property of the operator. The logos, names and trademarks of the sponsors and contributing organisations are the property of their respective owners and are used on the website with the consent of those concerned, solely for the purpose of presenting the competition. Commercial reuse, copying or modification of the content of the website is not permitted without the prior written permission of the operator.

5. External links

The website contains links to external websites (sponsors, contributing organisations, social media). We accept no responsibility for their content, operation or data processing.

6. Liability

We compile the content of the website with the greatest possible care, but we accept no liability for damage resulting from any inaccuracy of the content or from temporary unavailability of the website. The information published is for information purposes only and does not constitute an offer.

8. Amendments and governing law

The operator reserves the right to amend these terms; the version in force is always available on this page, with the date indicated above. These terms are governed by Hungarian law.
